Biography

About Clare Cahill

My first role, which I began in 2005, was as office manager. Over the years my position duties increased and evolved, and I was promoted to WCC’s business and human resource manager. As such, I oversee the day-to-day operations of WCC from accounting, summer camp program, vendor services, building and grounds maintenance/safety, recruiting/retainer staff, employee benefits, and more.

If I’m not at my desk, you will find me stealing a few minutes to be surrounded by your kids. I am always met with warm and sometime sticky hugs, belly giggles, and toothy smiles. This is by far the best part of my day!

I am an avid reader and traveler. I always have a “go-to” bag ready in case a quick weekend getaway becomes available. I am curious by nature and love to learn and meet new challenges.

About Libby King

I was born and raised in Suffern, New York. I moved to Maryland in the early 1990's. I graduated from Pace University with a dual BA degree in human relations and early childhood, and a minor in psychology. I have worked at WCC for the past 32 years, starting my career at WCC as a teacher, I then became the site director of our Circle Campus for 11 years, and lastly, I became the executive director in 2012. My philosophy about early education is to get children excited about learning early in their lives so that they will become lifelong curious learners.

When not at WCC, I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the beach or pool. We often travel home to New York to visit extended family and friends. My hobbies are shopping, working out, learning to cook, and bake new recipes.
