The Westmoreland Children’s Center (WCC) recently celebrated its 55th anniversary with an evening of memories, laughter, and community spirit. The celebration, held Saturday, September 13 at Rock Creek Mansion in Bethesda, brought together current and former WCC families, staff, and friends for a festive adults-only night. Guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, and dancing, all set against a lively 1970s theme honoring the decade of the center’s founding.
Throughout the evening, attendees reconnected with friends, shared stories, and reflected on the lasting impact WCC has had on children and families over the decades. The event highlighted not only the center’s long-standing commitment to early childhood education but also the strong sense of community that has grown around it.
With more than five decades of service behind it, the Westmoreland Children’s Center looks ahead to continuing its mission of supporting young learners and their families for years to come.
